Dec 27, 2013  Yes I hacked the hell oput of Evochron Mercenaries (by using my brain i was easily able to bypass most of the anti cheat system which has been built into the game), money, assembly points, frame config points, warp drive distance to unlimited, etc etd. There are no pointers and opcodes change with each run of the game.

Start off with mining some asteroids, if there is a converting station nearby, you can make good profit quite quick. Past the few 1st hours of gameplay, if you are active in trading, making missions, playing with other players, you won't stay poor very long, and buying fuel won't even be a problem.And as Seejay said above, you still can have 'free' fuel ingame, against time, after you bought some medium advanced stuff.Having the limitation in fuel is also a very good incentive to prepare deeply your travels and explorations. There would not be much of a challenge with unlimited fuel in a limited (yet quite enourmously huge) game space. Just to add to this and confirm mining for money. See if you have the money to put at least 2-3 cargo bays on your ship at the docking station; dock up, enter station button, shipyard button. There will be a lot of options to modify your ship but I'd recommend getting the cargo bays, dump crew member sections and secondary weapon hardpoints down a couple notches.

For each cargo bay is up to 25 units of any mined source. For me, I'll go to an asteroid, mine it for platinum and diamonds (dump the metal). I have 4 cargo bays so it's around $90,000+ income per trip to the asteroid field and even more when I take on a job at the same time for blowing up asteroids or bringing back a specific mined source. Make sure you utilize the Alt + B function for your mining tractor beam, you won't have to hold down B the whole time.
